Rides

Ride out through the Mecklenburg Pampa like in Argentina

On our Cavalan Ranch we ride like in Argentina: In western style across country and for all riding levels through "Mecklenburg-Patagonia"! With our well-trained, gentle horses we ride over green hills, wide pastures, meadows and forests of Mecklenburg - through the middle of nature, almost without restrictions! We have horses and rides for all levels of rider and children are of course also welcome to ride with us.

In winter we offer rides on the weekends (or during the week upon request) and in the high season (vacation periods and public holidays) we offer daily rides.
Please note that we do not always have all the dates for the whole year online, but will update them gradually.  Please send us an e-mail at booking@cavalan.de if you have any individual requests for dates so that we may take them into account.

Wearing a riding helmet on our rides is obligatory - we have helmets in various sizes, but you can of course bring your own.
We also recommend sturdy shoes, preferably without flat soles (no hiking boots, as these are often too big for the stirrups and can easily get stuck).

Our rides take place in light rain, in this case please bring weatherproof clothing. If a ride is canceled due to heavy rain, you will receive an equivalent voucher for the ride.

You can also find information on our cancellation policy and other information regarding rides and events in our GTCs.

Gaucho-Days / Advanced

Enjoy three days of riding adventures in the Mecklenburg Pampa! Our new Gaucho program includes extended trail rides, a full-day ride with a lunch break at the café, and an exciting Gaucho riding competition. In addition to the riding program, you'll enjoy delicious meals and cozy evenings by the fire, including an Asado night (Argentine BBQ).

The Gaucho Days are designed for advanced riders looking to enjoy a unique getaway in the saddle!
